Position Description

Title: RN 6S Telemetry Stepdown

Location: Midwest (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation

Pay Range:$36.75-$52.50/Hrs

Description

  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a telemetry stepdown unit.
  • Utilize biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences for patient care.
  • Engage in a partnership with patients and families for culturally based, age-specific care.
  • Adhere to nursing ethics and scope of practice as per regional guidelines.
  • Work in a unit specializing in cardiac recovery and monitoring.
  • Participate in titration of intravenous medications and conscious sedation procedures.
  • Develop skills for potential transition to an ICU setting.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate professional growth and competence.
  • Adapt to changes and work in a culturally diverse environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license in Ohio or Compact.
  • BLS and ACLS certification from a recognized association.
