Position Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Midwestern United States (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation

Pay Range:$36.75-$52.50/Hrs

Description

  • Provide specialized nursing care to adult cardiac and complex internal medicine patients.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced emergency care specialists.
  • Work in a high acuity, fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patient care.
  • Promote ongoing partnerships between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to culturally based and age-specific care practices.
  • Follow the American Nursing Association code of ethics and relevant practice acts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan patient care based on nursing principles.
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional growth and competence.
  • Adapt to change and work in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing required.
  • Ohio RN License or Compact required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
