Occupational Health Nurses Week

A little history: In 1888 Betty Moulder, a nurse, "was employed by a group of col mining companies to care for ailing miners and their families. This is the first recorded instance in U.S. industrial history of a nurse being employed to safeguard the health of workers." (AAOHN, 1976, p.1). OAOHN has over a 50 year history of providing care to its members in education and support.
